The new adventures of the posh rot! Check back in a couple of days; I'm still messing with specifics...
Within the SCA, my name is Lady Renata the posh rot. My persona is 14th century French/Roma, although I occasionally play in 16th century Venice and have been known to flirt with some Middle Eastern. More recently, I have been looking into taking on an alternative person, focusing on Mediterranean pirates in period. I am currently the Royal Largesse Coordinator for the Kingdom of Aethelmearc, protege to Maestro Brian of Leicester, and a Lady of the Ducal household, Pryde's Keep, which resides primarily in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands. I have my Thrown Weapons marshallate and have occasionally donned armor in heavy weapons combat, where my forte seems to be pole arm.
As an artisan, I enjoy painting, drawing, costuming, dancing, needlework, leather work and cooking. I am in the process of learning weaving, woodcut and calligraphy, which some would say is my bane in life : )
